Monster Battle @ The Deep South Community Art Exhibition 15 December

TOONZA’S MONSTER BATTLE DRAWING GAME COMES TO SCARBOROUGH’S ANNUAL ART SHOW!

If you love comics, if you’re one of those people who can’t stop drawing, and if you’re free on the afternoon of Wednesday 15th December, here’s some news to make your fingers itch!

Monster Battle, the fan-tastic, hi-intensity, super-fun and ultra-challenging draw-your-own-
mini-comic game that will keep your head down and fingers flying for three hours non-stop
has been included in the programme of the annual Deep South Community Art Exhibition!
Since 2017, ToonZA Monster Battles have featured at FanCon, Open Book Comics Fest,
Stellenbosch Academy’s Orientation Week and other venues for as many as 96 participants!
With Covid-19 protocols strictly in place, participation in this Monster Battle event will belimited, so make sure you book right now!

ToonZA is all about enhancing artistic, narrative, entrepreneurial and leadership skills
amongst young South Africans by making our own comics and telling our own stories!
This time round, you will have three hours to make yourself a mini-comic on a theme very
close to your heart, that will challenge your imagination, test your drawing skills, push you to
the limits of your ability, and teach you more about making comics than you ever knew you needed to know!

It doesn’t matter how well you draw. What matters is the alchemy that happens when your
eye and hand and heart and brain conspire to create a unique story that’s never been heard or seen on this planet before!

If an afternoon of total immersion in the world of comic art sounds like more fun than you can imagine, ToonZa’s Monster Battle is for you!

Presented by ToonZA’s Andy Mason (N.D.Mazin) and Robyn-Jade (Pob) Hosking.
